At AHS, a major part of personal development happens when students are given opportunities to develop their confidence and their abilities through activities that take place outside the classroom.

Therefore, students are encouraged to take initiatives to organize different activities and events such as Social Welfare Activities, Drama, Eloquent Week, Creative Week, Sports Week, AHS Fete, Class Picnics, Parties, Musical Program, etc. In taking a lead role in organizing events, students learn to take initiatives, make decisions, lead and become team players as well as help to add value to personal and academic development.

Guest speakers, Industry visits, tours, excursions, etc expose the students to the real world. Such visits, apart from being a refreshing change, help students to understand the classroom knowledge being put in the real life situation better.
