What Guides Us at Ace
We believe students learn best when they are treated with respect and trusted to take responsibility for their choices, including their learning. We encourage them to think, to ask questions and to take their work seriously. Many students choose Ace because they value this trust and the freedom that comes with it.
At Ace, freedom is paired with responsibility. Students are expected to attend regularly, work honestly, and take responsibility for their actions. Mistakes are treated as opportunities to learn and students are guided to reflect and improve. Repeated mistakes without reflection are taken as a sign of unwillingness to learn and are addressed firmly and fairly.
Learning at Ace extends beyond the classroom. Students are encouraged to explore interests, take initiative, and participate in activities that build confidence, creativity, leadership and teamwork. These experiences are an essential part of how students discover their strengths and learn to work with others.
Teaching at Ace is student-centered. Students are expected to think, not memorize, and to engage actively in their learning. They are supported when they struggle and challenged when they are ready for more. Learning here requires effort and commitment but it is purposeful and rewarding.
The school is run with care and consistency. Expectations are clear. Decisions are made thoughtfully and communicated openly. This allows teachers to teach well and students to learn in a stable, respectful environment.
Students and families who choose Ace place their trust in the school. We take that trust seriously. Our responsibility is to help each student leave Ace prepared for further study, for work and for life.
